At Portaltech delivering a quality solution is our primary concern and to that end we have a documented approach to delivering quality solutions.
We define quality in terms of a number of factors
Quality of Solution
A scale by which we can measure, record and compare the acceptability of a solution in terms of implementation of documented requirements, adherence to documented design, compliance to published standards, number of faults and a hassle free release.
The solution behaves as expected with the minimum of changes at deployment and behaves as expected in terms of performance and resource utilisation.
The solution will demand a minimum of involvement from the support team, was completed within the predicted budget (including hidden charges of non-project resources) and has exceeded the end customer's expectations in all aspects.
Quality of Delivery
"A means by which we ensure that solutions are constructed and deployed in a uniform fashion."
Quality of Technology
"The collective name for how we ensure a solution is delivered to the level of sophistication to which we are satisfied, are comfortable deploying to the Portal and supporting."
Quality of Supply
"scale by which we can judge and qualify the expertise of our existing and prospective suppliers."
It is our opinion that it should be the goal of the delivery methodology to ensure that it manages the build and deployment of solutions to comply with these definitions of quality.
This philosophy of quality has been incorporated into our quality manuals documented through the ISO quality management accreditations. In particular our ISO9001 and ISO27001 accreditations commit us to continually review and improve our quality processes.
