Junior Technical Consultant

We are seeking highly motivated graduates to join our expanding team as Technical Consultants. Our work is challenging in more ways than one, so while we expect you to have an excellent academic track record (320 UCAS points and a first in Computer Science or a related numerical discipline) we are also interested in your achievements and experiences outside the classroom.

So what can you expect from us as a graduate recruit? Initially we will take you through a training course so that you understand the basics of what we do and the technologies we use. As soon as you complete the training course you will be straight onto a real project, gaining first hand experience of how we interact with our clients and deliver technology that meets their requirements. You will be working closely with our experienced consultants to design, develop and deliver enterprise strength web applications and their related components both on and off client sites.

At Portal Technology, we encourage you to take control of your own career. If you show ability and a willingness to take on responsibility, you will get it, and with it you will get the opportunity to grow and develop your career as a professional in the industry. Our aim is to train you both technically and professionally so that you are confident enough to manage and deliver your own projects. And of course, all of this hard work does not go un-rewarded. We are offering a competitive starting salary and a £1000 signing on bonus to get you started. You will also be entitled to private health care and a contributory pension.
